Last week, Toyota revealed the updated Toyota Tundra and Sequoia models. The duo got new Trailhunter trims and minor updates to help them stay fresh. The one missing piece was the annual TRD exclusive color which has become a yearly tradition.

Toyota didn’t disappoint and has unveiled two new colors that are as sweet as honey, and add a noticeable splash of natural charm to the paint lineup for 2027.

Toyota is bringing two flavors of honey-themed goodness

The two colors Toyota is rolling out for 2027 will mostly depend on what model you choose to buy. If you go for the Sequoia, Tacoma, or Tundra you get a color called Honeycomb, while the 4Runner TRD PRO gets a slightly different hue called Hot Honey with the latter perhaps being a nod to the recent trend of spicy honey sauces being used on certain types of food.

The colors are also an attempt to get more buyers to notice the lineup in dealerships, and we think they will certainly draw plenty of attention to themselves. Despite confirming the new colors, Toyota is still not stating final pricing on the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia, and has not revealed final specs either. However, we don’t expect anything major on that latter front with the Sequoia and Tundra potentially having unchanged performance numbers.

When can I buy one?

Thankfully the wait for pricing information won’t be too long with the company confirming it will be releasing final pricing information for the Tundra and Sequoia later this fall. As for the 4Runner and Tacoma, we suspect the same information for these two will also be released in the fall.

The new colors will be a win for dealerships who might choose to use these vehicles as promotional tools to help draw people into the dealership, while also giving style-conscious buyers a new way to stand out when they are commuting in town or busting trails at the ORV park on the weekends.
