With exclusivity and desirability being strong buzzwords to describe society these days, Cadillac knew it had to come up with something big for its 125th birthday.

The luxury brand took that to heart (literally) and has unveiled the all-new 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series, and it has big plans for these bespoke rigs for those who are big fans of the brand.

Tapping the collector market

Cadillac is obviously attempting to connect with high-end buyers and collectors with this run of Slades and they all start out as V models, with all of them being powered by a supercharged V8 that makes 682 horsepower and 652 lb-ft of torque. The core exterior styling doesn’t change too much either, but the 125th Anniversary Collector Series gets 24-inch carbon-accented wheels and carbon fiber accents splashed onto certain parts of the exterior.

Blue-tinged brake calipers are also part of the package, and the badging even gets darkened for these SUVs. One final touch that we do like is the puddle lamps, which get a special design for the 125th Anniversary Collector Series.

Santorini Blue anchors 125th Anniversary Collector Series

Slip inside the 125th Anniversary Collector Series, and we hope that you like Santorini Blue. The color is taken from the V-Series emblem, and here, it forms a design anchor, with the color being used in various aspects of the cabin. It appears on the seat belts, the stitching, and in a few other places. A blue-tinged key fob is also part of the package, and premium floormats and badging are also included.

While some may have wished Cadillac could’ve done a bit more in this department to make the Escalade stand out against similarly equipped bespoke versions of rivals like the Range Rover (They did that with its EV counterpart), we think the buyers the brand is going for here won’t mind one bit.

How Much?

All of this exclusivity comes with an equally big price tag: $239k for the “base” one (Photo by Cadillac)

Cadillac revealed that buyers will be able to start placing orders today and will be able to choose from either Midnight Stone Frost or Vibrant White Tri-Coat. In exchange for only having two colors to choose from, buyers can choose their own VIN number as well as an individualized serial number, which allows them to put their own touch on the 125th Anniversary Collector Series.

The order book also reveals the high price buyers will have to pay to get their chance to be on the wait list, with a “base” model starting at $239,000 (that MSRP includes the delivery charge). Cadillac is also only building 252 of these Escalades and has also seemingly acknowledged that some dealerships might get ambitious with the pricing by saying, “The dealer sets final price.” Look for that not to be too much of an obstacle for these buyers anyway.
