With the revamped CX-5 preparing to make its way to showrooms very soon, Mazda is preparing to make some adjustments to its lineup to help it continue to be fresh and dynamic. The company confirmed the CX-50 and the CX-30 are getting updates for the new model year to help spice up their appeal while also fixing a prominent flaw or two.

2026 Mazda CX-50

The Mazda CX-50 itself is not getting any significant refreshes for 2026 but Mazda revealed it’s tweaking the pricing ladder with a base 2.5 S model now starting at $29,900 a $600 decrease when compared to last year. The Turbo powered Meridian and Premium Plus models also get $600 decreases with the Hybrid keeping its price cut to merely $100

In addition to these price cuts, some increases are also coming with the 2.5 S Premium going up by $700 to a revised total of $34,900 with the Hybrid Preferred and Premium models going up by $500 and $450 respectively.

Pricing aside, Mazda is also making some more noticeable changes to equipment with the Meridian Edition now being extended to the naturally aspirated 2.5 liter variant with Meridians getting all-terrain tires, blacked-out accents and more. Premium models get cooled seats and buyers can also choose an all-white interior as an optional extra. Hybrids also get more comfort features including heated rear seats, adaptive headlights, and other comfort focused add-ons.

2026 Mazda CX-30

With the CX-50 being given a light do-over, Mazda chose to focus its attention on the smaller CX-30 and has given the model a more extensive suite of updates for the new model year. This includes the appearance of all-new Aire Editions which give the CUV the black-out treatment thanks to darkened badging, black wheels and other accents. The interior gets a brighter shade of white with the white leatherette being mixed with grey-suede material for what Mazda says is “a fresh stylish look.”

The CX-30 also fixes a lingering complaint buyers have had with select 2.5 S models finally pitching their dinky infotainment screens for a larger 10.25-inch screen. This larger screen has been working its way into newer Mazdas and it’s good to see that lower versions of the CX-30 will now have access to this particular feature. Unlike the CX-50, Mazda chose to not go too in depth on CX-30 pricing with the company only confirming the base model will start at $25,575. That said, look for pricing adjustments to be made across the lineup as well to help accommodate the newly minted Aire Editions.
