The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has continued to be the brand’s volume luxury sedan. The C-CLass has undergone its fair share of changes over the years as it attempts to be the ultimate jack of all trades for a wide range of buyers.
This includes the C-Class’s first forary into the EV wars and with the model rapidly becoming a key product for the brand, Mercedes-Benz has released a few teaser images of the interior and it appears the gloves are off when it comes to screens and tech.
C-Class embraces screens

Slip inside the EV and you would be forgiven if you felt like you made a wrong turn and ended up in a fictional space ship from a manga or even your favorite sci-fi series due to some of the bold things it has to offer. The MBUX Hyperscreen is a dominant piece of the presentation and it stretches across nearly all of the dashbaord. Even the instrument cluster gets in on the act and it help create a very distinctive look when viewed at night. It also looks similar to what you see in the GLC SUV.
The screen also has 10 different display modes and comes with trick matrix technology to ensure maximum brightness. Lower trims will get access to the Superscreen layout. It’s still very vivid but is made up of two displays instead of one unified pane of glass.

As for the upholstery, that depends on what sub-trim you choose. Base models get the company’s new Softtorino faux leather upholstery with the company claiming it’s “distinguished by its exceptionally refined appearance and first-class feel.” We hope to get a chance to sit in it ourselves to see how the material feels in real world use. Other trim levels get a Twisted Diamond” design that uses Nappa leather with diamond perforations and contrasting stitching. Last but not least, the AMG models get moccasin stitching on the bolsters with the interior also getting splashes of metal trim though buyers can also opt for either wood or carbon fiber accents.
C-Class still hiding key details
With the cabin providing the perfect backdrop for some teaser photos, the company has still not unveiled the exterior or the performance hardware of the next-generation C-CLass. Past spy photos we have seen revealed it will have smoothed out styling and it would continue ot have the familiar look that the C-Class has come to be known for.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long for our chance to see it. The company revealed it will be making its debut on April 20th (this peculiar date’s other significance is not lost on us) and it will most likely go on sale sometime in 2027.
