Infiniti made major updates to the QX80 for 2025 and like its slightly lesser counterpart the Nissan Armada, it’s supposed to bring the nameplate into a new era where modern technology and smaller powertrains reign supreme.
With the revamp itself taking place in 2025, the 2026 updates focus on some minor package revisions including the addition of a new Sport model and a beefed-up pricing ladder.
Sport trim takes the QX80 to the dark side

The big change is the addition of the Sport trim which replaces the outgoing Sensory trim and is positioned below the Autograph model. Sport models focus on styling with the trim getting a new front grille, a tweaked front bumper, and blacked out 22-inch wheels. The parade of dark accents continues with the mirror caps, emblems, and the bumpers also being dipped in the dark stuff.
Slip inside and you’ll find the Sport gets a dark blue interior with the space also getting wood trim. The Sport comes nicely equipped and it largely carries on where the Sensory model left off when it comes to the level of technology and features it brings to the table.

With the Sport focusing mostly on styling tweaks, it’s no shock to see that the Sport gets the same performance hardware as other QX80 models with this trim being powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that makes 450 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on the Sport and the model is capable of getting 16/19 mpg in city and freeway driving.
When can I buy one and how much?
